Louise Borden (Author) was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from Denison University. Eventually, she became a co-owner of a bookstore, married and became a mother. When the younger of their two daughters entered elementary school, she began writing children’s books. Her family life, personal friendships, and love of history and travel inspire her books. She deeply cares about her stories and choice of words, revising and revising to make the books beautiful or fun to read.
